Hidden Valleys 2018 photo contest rules are as follows whether you are a beginner or professional photographer. -Photos must be in digital format, 20 megabytes or smaller, taken after January 1, 2016 in one of the 9 counties of Hidden Valleys. Only minor editing is acceptable (i.e. cropping, minor color corrections. -Photos become the sole property of Hidden Valleys of SW Wisconsin, be an original by the entrant. By submitting a photo the entrant acknowledges and warrants that the photo does not infringe on copyrights or trademarks of any person or entity and that no other party has any right, title, claim or interest in the photo. Please submit by email to hv@mwt.net (only 1 photo per email), with details of where and when the photo was taken (location and county), name of the photographer and details on what is pictured. All entries must be submitted by December 31, 2018. Prizes will be awarded based on creativity, uniqueness and photographic quality.

Enjoy the biking season with a guided ride on the Elroy-Sparta Trail. Be sure to bring your bike light and bike helmet. We'll head west to the intersection at Icebox Road where we'll meet up with the area astronomy club. They'll have telescopes available for viewing the moon and the night sky, and club members will share their insights. We'll also enjoy some refreshments before heading back to the Depot. Individuals under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Thanks to the Deke Slayton Space and Bike Museum and the Astronomy Club for sponsoring this ride.
